Arm Korakot’s Curated Stylings
Look No.7 “Veteran Thrifter”
“There’s something special about vintage finds that look like they’ve seen better days but in the most fascinating ways possible. Sometimes I even gravitates towards items that are on the edge of being worn out entirely. There’s a certain allure in the imperfection, a beauty found within the decay.”
In this look, Arm is channeling the spirit of a seasoned vintage flea market explorer who’s always on the lookout, whether it’s digging through piles in Pasadena or fervently bids on a cherished pair of Wranglers at Bangkok’s Chatuchak Weekend Market. Arm’s selection, other than aesthetics, also emphasizes on practicality without fear of dirt or damage while he operates.
The outfit is anchored by Diplomate OG Green Cotton Herringbone Westerner, which weaves matte and rugged elements into a cohesive look that is striking without being overly ‘vintage-y’. The Levi’s 505 Patchwork added the flare without the unneeded eccentricity. And it’s no surprise that Converse and Levi’s are the equivalent of Bonnie & Clyde in the realm of contemporary menswear at this point.
